"Listening to someone is one of the most beautiful things you can do for another."

Marieke Zwanikken

Career coach / Second track programme counselor / TMA talent professional

“As the eldest daughter in a family with two brothers, I learned to stand my ground, take responsibility, share, and empathize with others. Being able to ‘take a joke’ was also helpful, as humor was never in short supply.

I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to become, but I knew it had to be ‘something with people.’ Following in my father’s footsteps, I entered the field of personnel work. I started in job placement as a consultant for technical personnel at a large staffing agency. After that, I got hands-on experience in the HR field at an insurance company. Over time, I specialized in talent and career development, focusing on opportunities and possibilities—on what people excel at and what they want to become when they grow up. In my last job, I faced redundancy. This experience taught me firsthand how it feels to be doing what you love the most and then have it suddenly come to an end.

For several years now, I’ve been working as an independent career coach. I thoroughly enjoy guiding people from diverse backgrounds with questions about their careers, strengths and weaknesses, behaviors, beliefs, and the decisions they face.

I have a blended family with my husband and four sons. In our household, different cultures and stories come together, bringing with them a sense of dynamism, joy, and meaningful challenges. Neurodiversity is a familiar concept to me, as two of my sons have been diagnosed with ADHD. People often recognize me (and know I’m around!) by my loud, hearty laugh.

In my coaching, I aim to create a safe environment where equality, connection, depth, and humor play a significant role. I easily empathize with others and quickly get to the core of what’s at stake in your situation. I enjoy guiding individuals in taking small steps to initiate change and working together to achieve tangible results. We’ll explore which methodologies and tools suit you best, helping you gain insights so you can independently take the next steps. I firmly believe in autonomy and personal responsibility, while offering support when you feel stuck.
I specialize in Voice Dialogue, a method that gives space to the different ‘voices’ or ‘selves’ within you, often leading to profound insights. Additionally, I use techniques such as constellations and floor anchors to support growth and understanding.

I collaborate with Dynamisch Bureau because it’s a great team of professionals with extensive expertise and a strong network. The neurotraining that enhances brain function is something I see as a valuable addition. Having witnessed the impact of ADHD in daily life and work through my sons, I understand these challenges closely. I look forward to meeting you!”
